About the Scholarship
The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship is designed to support a female student from a developing country where access to higher education is limited.
It was established in 2018 and is funded by alumni, friends, and contributors of Hatfield College, Durham University.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be female.

- Must not hold a Master’s degree.
- Hold a relevant honors degree.
- Meet English language proficiency requirements.
- Have financial need (unable to study in the UK without funding).
- Apply and receive unconditional admission at Durham University by June 2025.
