Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the ICCR Scholarship, applicants must:
- Submit a **research proposal** (for Ph.D. applicants).
- Provide a recorded performance (for performing arts studies).
- Have adequate proficiency in **English**.
- Apply through the **Indian Embassy/High Commission** in their country.
- Preferably **not have studied in India before**.
- Not apply for **MBBS, MD, Dentistry, or Nursing** courses.
- Meet the eligibility requirements of the **chosen Indian university**.
- Obtain a valid **student visa** before traveling to India.
Scholarship Benefits
Financial Assistance
- Monthly Stipend:
- Undergraduate: INR 5,500
- Postgraduate: INR 6,000
- Ph.D.: INR 7,000
- Post-Doctoral Fellow: INR 7,500
- House Rent Allowance:
- Grade 1 Cities: INR 5,000
- Other Cities: INR 4,500
- Contingent Grant (Annual):
- Undergraduate: INR 5,000
- Postgraduate: INR 7,000
- Ph.D. & M.Tech./ME: INR 12,500
- Medical Coverage: University-affiliated health centers or government hospitals.
