Brunei Government Scholarship 2025/2026

Scholarship Overview

The Government of Brunei Darussalam offers a fully funded scholarship for international students wishing to study at top universities in Brunei for the 2025/2026 academic year. This scholarship covers all expenses, including:

• Full tuition fees
• Accommodation in university residences
• Return airfare
• Monthly stipend (BND 500)
• Annual book allowance (BND 600)
• Monthly food allowance (BND 150)
• Baggage allowance upon completion (BND 250–500)
• Outpatient medical and dental care

• Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD)
• Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA)
• Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB)
• Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB)
• Politeknik Brunei (PB)

Eligibility Requirements

• Age Limit: Max 25 years for Diploma/Undergraduate; Max 35 years for Master’s
• English Proficiency: GCE ‘O’ Level Credit 6, IELTS 6.0, or TOEFL 550
• Exclusively for first-time international students (Bruneians and residents not eligible)
